Privacy

No cookies, no trackers, no stored IP addresses. Here is the whole list of what we keep, why we keep it, and how to make us delete it.

Version 2026-09-15. Written to describe what this service actually does. When we change it we change the version date, and anyone with an account is emailed before a material change takes effect. Questions: [email protected].

The short version

We collect an email address if you make an account, whatever Stripe tells us about your subscription, and a deliberately blunt record of which pages are being read. We set no cookies, we run no third-party analytics, there are no ad trackers on this site, and we do not store your IP address. We have never sold data about a person and the business does not have a version of itself where that makes sense.

What we actually collect

Why we are allowed to

Account and billing data: because we need it to give you the thing you bought. Usage counts: the same. Page reads: our legitimate interest in knowing which pages are worth maintaining, served by a record too coarse to identify anyone.

Who else touches it

That is the list. No advertising networks, no data brokers, no analytics vendor. We do not sell or rent personal data, and we do not share it for anyone else's marketing.

How long we keep it

Account and billing records for as long as you have an account, and afterwards only as long as tax and accounting rules require. Page-read counts are aggregate and kept indefinitely because they identify nobody. Sign-in links expire quickly by design.

What you can ask for

A copy of what we hold, a correction, or deletion. Email [email protected] from the address on the account and we will do it within thirty days. Deleting an account removes the account and its data; invoices we are required to retain for tax purposes are the exception, and we will tell you which those are. Depending on where you live you may also have the right to object, to restrict processing, or to complain to a regulator.

There is no self-serve delete button yet. Until there is, a person reads the email and does it by hand — which is slower and which we would rather say than imply otherwise.

Children

This is a service for people doing professional work. It is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect anything from anyone under 16.

Where it is processed

On infrastructure in the United States. If you are in the UK or EEA, using the service means your data is handled there, under the terms our processors offer for international transfers.
